Starting January 1, 2025, Florida’s new law will require homeowners’ associations (HOAs) with 100 or more parcels to provide online access to essential documents and meeting information.

This initiative aims to enhance transparency and accountability within communities. Associations must establish a website or mobile app to post key documents like bylaws, annual budgets, meeting notices, and rules governing the community.

Additionally, a secure, password-protected section for homeowners and association staff will be required to protect sensitive information.

This shift not only promotes greater engagement among residents but also modernizes governance practices within Florida communities
